INJECTABLE FACIAL FILLER

As we age, our skin naturally loses the tightness and strength that it once had in its youthful days. The body naturally starts to lose the subcutaneous fat, the fat beneath your skin, and in doing so, it removes a layer that was separating your facial muscles from your skin. This is why smile lines and crow’s feet start to appear on your face as you age. So many external factors go into the appeared aging of skin, including sun exposure, genes, skin care, lifestyle, and so much more, causing the aging process to be inevitable. Wrinkles, sagging, indentations and so many other unwanted aspects start to appear with age and can be frustrating when these facial aspects make you look older than you feel.

The good news is, you do not have to be defined by your wrinkles anymore. With FDA approved Injectable Facial Fillers, you can gain back your youthful appearance and go back to looking as good as you feel. This minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment is the next best alternative to face lifts, which can cost you thousands of dollars more for virtually the same results. Injectable Facial Fillers, otherwise known as Dermal Fillers, are very safe and offer you almost instant results that can last years. Facial Fillers can be a solution to many problems that you face every day, including:

  • Thin lips
  • Smile lines
  • Vertical lip lines
  • Shallow contours that have appeared on your face
  • Facial creases
  • Wrinkles
  • Recessed scars
  • Marionette lines: the lines that run downward from the corners of the mouth.
  • Corners of the mouth that have lost their volume and cause you to appear as if you were frowning.
  • Pre-Jowl fold: skin around either side of your chin that is sagging
  • Chin wrinkles: a horizontal wrinkle below the bottom lip.

All these and more are problems that women face every day, but you don’t have to any more. Injectable Facial Fillers are a great solution to erase any lines, wrinkles, and indentations that you have been fighting with for years. The best part is that this is a quick, easy treatment solution that requires no surgery and no recovery time—just results.

How does it work?

Injectable Facial Fillers offer many benefits to you and your skin, as they can add volume, smooth lines and wrinkles, and encourage collagen production so that your skin can rejuvenate itself on its own. The process of Injectable Facial Fillers is simple, easy, and quick; it can be completed in a simple office visit and has no need for recovery time afterwards.

Facial Filling starts with an initial visit to Vitality Aesthetics, where one of our experienced clinicians on our medical staff will sit down with you and talk about the vision that you have for your skin. Next, they will evaluate your skin, including the target areas, the appearance, skin type and tone to evaluate if you are a good candidate.

Next, a small needle will probe the surface of the skin and inject the filler to the targeted area. The process can last as short as 15 minutes—longer if there are multiple areas to be treated. Afterward, you will need no downtime and can resume to all of your normal activities. There may be some soreness around the injected areas that could last for one to two days, along with minor redness.

How do Injectable Facial Fillers Differ from botox®?

BOTOX® is another popular choice for smoothing wrinkles and diminishing facial lines. The two procedures are similar in their end result, but differ in how the products do it, and how long each product lasts. BOTOX® is made from a naturally occurring protein and is meant to relax the muscles on the targeted area. Once the muscles are relaxed, the lines and wrinkles in the surrounding areas will relax as well, giving your face a smooth, younger appearance. BOTOX®, however, is not a permanent solution, as it lasts 3-6 months before another treatment is needed.

Injectable Facial Fillers, on the other hand, are a more permanent solution—lasting from months to years. Facial Filler injections fill in the areas of the face with FDA approved substances to actually give volume and hydration to the tissue beneath the skin and encourage collagen production. While BOTOX® is aimed towards smoothing wrinkles and decreasing lines, Injectable Facial Fillers do that and more, including volumizing lips, filling in areas that appear caved in or have a shallow contour, and lift cheeks, jawlines, and temples. However, Injectable Facial Fillers cannot achieve permanent face lifts, brow lifts, or eye lifts.

Both are minimally invasive and a better solution to costly face lifts. Both are FDA approved and completely safe. If you’d like to learn more about BOTOX®
